BREAKING: Kaizer Chiefs Announce Departing Players!
Following long-time speculations about the players who would be leaving Kaizer Chiefs this transfer window, the club has confirmed the names that will not wear Gold and Black jersey next season and one player that is on sale.
Samir Nurkovic, Lebohang Manyama, Lazarous Kambole, Daniel Cardoso, Leonardo Castro, Daniel Akpeyi, Kearyn Baccus, and Akumu Agay were all on the list that was disclosed by Chiefs today.
The other name that appeared along with exiting players is the goalkeeper coach Lee Baxter who is parting ways with the club that he joined in 2018.

Nurkovic is said to be on his way to Royal AM but the CEO of Thwihli Thwahla Sinky Mnisi said he is not aware of the news. “Well, I am the one who signs players at Royal AM. However, I know nothing about this,” Mnisi told GOAL.
Nurkovic joined Amakhosi in 2019 from Komarno. He played 78 games for the Love and Peace club and found the back of the net on 21 occasions.
The Zambian forward Kambole will be returning to his former team Zesco United after joining Amakhosi in 2019. Kambole was tipped by many to make his mark at the Glamour Boys however, his career fizzled out somewhat. He played 46 games and scored only two goals for the club.
Manyama on the other side has dealt with injury concerns these past two seasons and has been out for quite some time. The former Cape Town City star joined Chiefs in 2018 from Konyaspor and played 95 matches where he scored 15 goals.
The veteran defender Cardoso who joined Chiefs in 2015 leaves after featuring for the club 202 times where he registered 13 goals.
Leonardo Castro signed for Chiefs in 2018 after a successful run with Mamelodi Sundowns and the 33-year-old features 122 times for the Soweto-based club where he score 27 goals over four seasons.

The Nigerian international Akpeyi joined Chiefs in the middle of the 2018/2019 season from Chippa United and he played 69 times for the club. His contract is set to expire on 30 June 2022 and will not be extended.
While the Durban-born midfielder Baccus will also see his contract not being renewed. He joined Chiefs in 2019 and has played 53 matches where he scored two goals. He has been heavily linked with AmaZulu but it remains to be seen whether or not they sign him.
The Ugandan midfielder Agay has been put on the transfer list and the club announced that they will listen to offers.
Last week, Amakhosi announced Arthur Zwane as a new head coach while Dillon Sheppard will serve as an assistant coach.
