Cameroon bow out of Confederations Cup without a win.

Reigning African Champions Cameroon crashed out of the Fifa Confederations Cup in Russia after suffering a 3-1 defeat to Germany. The African giants only managed to get one point in their group.

Cameroon began their campaign in a midst of controversy, due to them not even being sure that they would participate due to administration problems.

They began their campaign with a 2-0 defeat to Chile and went on to play to a 1-1 draw with New Zealand, their last game was going to be a huge task against the current world champions Germany.

The Cameroonian’s managed to pull one goal back, which was nothing but a consolation and they were eventually sent packing.

This was the first time they competed in the competition since 2003.
