Lyle Lakay has been fortunate enough to be blessed with a healthy and happy family. Take a look at his beautiful family of four.
The Cape Town City defender has been with his wife for several years now. This dates back to his Bloemfontein Celtic days, before joining Cape Town City and Mamelodi Sundowns.
They are back in Cape Town now, where they are raising their two children together. Lylo and his wife have a son and daughter together.

Lyle Lakay was voted the PSL Defender of the Season for his amazing performances last season for The Brazilians. Despite this, the club loaned him to The Cityzens after they bought Terrence Mashego from the same club.
“Everybody says this move came as a surprise. It was a shock for me too,” he told Thabiso Mosia SAFM Sport in September 2022.
“One minute, I was in JHB, and then I was told the next day that I must get ready to go to Cape Town.
“It wasn’t my decision at all, and City was the club I was told I was going to.
“There were no other options offered. I would have liked to stay and fight for my place.
“I did so when Aubrey [Modiba] came, [Sifiso] Ngobeni and others.
“But as I said, it wasn’t my decision. Maybe things were made easier because I’m returning to a former club, and I’ve made peace with it,”
