PICS! Don’t Rule Out Rulani Mokwena When It Comes To Drip

Well known for being well-educated when it comes to football on the book and analysing the game but Rulani Mokwena’s got swag too. Mamelodi Sundowns co-coach was recently on holiday as football workers were enjoying an off-season break. He then got some time to show us that fashion isn’t far from him.

Before he returned to pre-season training with Masandawana, he posted a picture on social media saying, “End of holiday”.

Mokwena has been acknowledged by many in South African football because of the long journey he has walked and his immense contribution to the game despite being young. People like Pitso Mosimane have tipped him to become one of the biggest coaches in Africa.

“You asked me what prompted me to promote Rulani Mokwena from our U-19 Sundowns team, I told you that I saw huge potential in him and that he is going to be better than me. I still stand to that statement,” Mosimane wrote on social media

MOKWENA’S RESPONSE TO PITSO

“I could never my coach… Even if I lived 500 lives and each life span gave me an opportunity to get closer to your level, your hard work, drive and relentless focus have made you leap years ahead of your generation. I’ll forever be grateful for the opportunity you gave me,” Mokwena said.

MOKWENA IN AFRICA

Mokwena has also made himself a name in Africa with Mamelodi Sundowns alongside his counterpart Manqoba Mnqithi who’s a leader of Downs’ technical team. Mokwena was recently invited by KCCA where he went to assist the coaches and the players in drawing a blueprint for the future of the club.
