Chelsea Sack Head Coach Thomas Tuchel! The Londoners have must this astonishing move after the club lost last night.

Chelsea have fired German head coach Thomas Tuchel after an underwhelming start to the season. He joined the club two seasons ago, replacing club legend Frank Lampard.

Tuchel will always be remembered for leading the club to the 2021 UEFA Champions League trophy, defeating Manchester City in the final. He also won the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.

“On behalf of everyone at Chelsea FC, the Club would like to place on record its gratitude to Thomas and his staff for all their efforts during their time with the Club. Thomas will rightly have a place in Chelsea’s history after winning the Champions League, the Super Cup and Club World Cup in his time here.” The club announced in a statement. 

“As the new ownership group reaches 100 days since taking over the Club, and as it continues its hard work to take the club forward, the new owners believe it is the right time to make this transition. 

“Chelsea’s coaching staff will take charge of the team for training and the preparation of our upcoming matches as the Club moves swiftly to appoint a new head coach. 

“There will be no further comment until a new head coach appointment is made”

The Blues have not enjoyed the greatest start to the new season. They lost 1-0 to Dinamo Zagreb in the UEFA Champions League last night.

This is a big move as the club spent several million pounds in the transfer window. The head coach has been fired before even working with his full squad.
