Confederationas Cup Kicks Off in Russia.

The Fifa Conderations Cup officialy kicked of in Russia on Saturday. The hosts Russia were able to please the locals after managing to beat New Zealand 2-0 in the first game.

Day two of the tournament which is a preparatory tournament saw Portugal take on Mexico and Cameroon take on Chile.
The encounter between Cameroon and Chile was an emotional on for Cameroon, as it was the first time since they played in the tournament in which they reached the semi-finals.

However they lost Marc-Vivien Foe who died of a heart attack in a game against Colombia.

Cameroon were not able though to conjure up the required spirit to win the game against a tough Chile who beat the 2-0. Portugal were held by a stubborn Mexico to a 2-2 draw.

Today we see Australia take on Germany. Kickoff at 17:00.
