Cristiano Ronaldo Out to Collect More Silverware with Portugal! The Portuguese superstar will be looking to add another international title to his illustrious name.

Portugal enters a major competition as the champions for the very first time in their history. Portugal won the previous European Championships in 2016, Euro 2016.

A year later than anticipated, Portugal will be out to defend their crown in Euro 2020. They have been drawn into the Group of Death.

This is a group, Group F, which features previous winners Germany and France. Minnows Hungary makes the 4-team group.

Portugal begins their journey against Hungary in Budapest. A win is mandatory if Portugal is to make it out of this incredibly tough group.

Three points would set them on their way before playing giants France and Germany.

Captain Cristiano Ronaldo will have the eyes of the world on him once more. He is the leader of this young Portugal line up.

He is set to become the first player to play in 5 European Championships. Ronaldo has scored in every major competition since first scoring as a teenager in Euro 2004 on home soil.

Portugal lost in the final to minnows Greece.

Ronaldo has since scored in every FIFA World Cup (2006, 2010, 2014 and 2018) and every European Championship (2004, 2008, 2012 and 2016) which he has played in.

He will be looking to become the first player to score in 9 successive major international tournaments. Ronaldo will also be looking to be the first player to score in 5 European Championships.
