Dan Malesela Reportedly Quits Royal AM For Marumo Gallants Return! Dan Dance has been said to be on the move yet again.
Dan Malesela is allegedly set to return to the club he coached last season, Marumo Gallants. These reports suggest that he is ready to quit current club Royal AM.
Dan Dance coached Bahlabane Ba Ntwa last season, where he guided them to the final of the Nedbank Cup. He also saved the club from relegation.
He soon left his coaching post though, replaced by Frenchman Romain Folz. The coaching position has now been left vacant at Gallants.
Xaniseka Mdaka is currently the caretaker coach there.
“I’m meeting the President [Mkhize] tomorrow so that we can talk, there’s nothing that is untoward here,” Malesela told iDiski Times, reported by Lorenz Kohler.
“It’s nothing for the media, it’s about my family, there are things I need to sort out, people saw me leaving and probably rushed to the media. I just came home to sort out some issues.
“I will meet with the President tomorrow because there are issues that have been troubling me at home. I have a flight [back to KZN] that is booked for Friday.
“There’s a match on Friday and I need to be there.” He spoke.
He is currently a co-coach at Thwihli Thwahla, alongside Khabo Zondo. They are assisted by Abram Nteo.
