Dylan Kerr Replaces Patrick Aussems At Black Leopards!
The Englishman re-joins the club after spending a season away from them. He spent last season at the helm of Baroka FC.
Dylan Kerr Replaces Patrick Aussems At Black Leopards! It was reported yesterday that Aussems had burned his bridges with Leopards.
Complaints regarding his treatment at the club had tested the patience of David Thidiela and the rest of the board at the club.
Kerr himself, was relinquished of his duties as Baroka FC coach only last week. This came because of his criticism of the management of the club by owner Khurishi Mphahlele.
Dylan Kerr spent a successful 2018-2019 campaign with Black Leopards. He had to leave his job and return home for family reasons.
He since returned to the country to coach Baroka FC last season. He helped the side stave off relegation and famously grabbed the 1-1 draw at Kaizer Chiefs that denied Amakhosi the ABSA Premiership title.
“Dylan Kerr is the new coach at Black Leopards,” Sources told KickOff. “He replaces Patrick Aussems, who parted ways with the club last night.
Black Leopards spokesperson Barry Ramunenyiwa confirmed with SoccerLaduma that Aussems had indeed left the club and that they were searching for his replacement.
“It’s official since yesterday that the coach has parted ways with the club and we are looking for a new coach to take over as soon as possible,” Ramunenyiwa told SoccerLaduma.
“We will now look to the list of candidates we already had when we initially appointed him (Aussems), and we are confident we will make that appointment soon.
“We’ve had a lot of other interest in the country and internationally.
“But this shouldn’t take long because we really have to make sure the team is led by the new coach as soon as possible.
“I think within a matter of days we should have concluded talks,” Ramunenyiwa further explained.
