Edwin Gyimah Parts Ways With Orlando Pirates
Orlando Pirates has part ways with Edwin Gyimah after the Ghanaian requested to be relased from the sea robbers. Gyimah was under investigation following an altercation with coach Mushin Ertugral last year at the airport following a game against Ajax Cape Town.
The 25 year old defender replaced retired Pirates defender Siyabonga Sangweni. The Bucs were tight at the back following the arrival of Gyimah at Pirates. It is believed Gyimah wrote a letter to the Bucs management before leaving for AFCON 2017.
Speaking to media Gyimah said, “I have been wanting to go and when the opportunity came, I pushed for it. I wrote a letter to the club even before I left to the Ghana camp for the Nations Cup”. Gyimah is interested in playing overseas and will embark on a journey to secure a deal in overseas based teams but it not clear where he will be going.
