Erick Mathoho has scored 6 goals in the CAF Champions League for Kaizer Chiefs. This is more than any other player in the history of the club.
The likes of Collins Mbesuma and Knowledge Musona did not ever reach the group stages of the competitions with Chiefs. Thus, they did not have the opportunity to excel.
Erick Mathoho on the other hand, is part of the squad which reached the group stages for the first time in their history. They have since reached the quarterfinals and semi-finals for the first time as well.
