“Everything Happens For A Reason” -Says Mthembu

Siphelele Mthembu the Kaizer Chiefs striker, believes that Amakhosi signed him with a with a good reason. Mthembu started his PSL career at Chiefs before joining  Orlando Pirates, where he did not perform as expected and he did not get enough game time. Scara also played for Bloemfontein Celtic and Golden Arrows, then moved to the Royal Bafokeng side Platinum Stars where he manged to hit the net 10 times out of 43 matches.

The glamour boys signed him for the second time last season, however he only got to play as a substitute 15 occasions. Things are looking good for him this season as he has already managed a starting XI place from six matches, he is assured that Amakhosi have a plan for him.

“Everything happens for a reason. I have been here before and I have played for other teams as well. Everything I have achieved at the different teams is because God has planned it to happen,” Mthembu told Soccer Laduma.

“It’s not for me to say I deserve it or not, but if the team gives me the chance to play for them, then that means there is something they see in me. For me it’s just to do the job that I have been given and follow the coach’s instructions,” Mthembu concluded.
