Former Sundowns player remanded in custody to 4 May

Former Mamelodi Sundowns player Method Mwanjali was on Wednesday remanded in custody to 4 May. The current Caps United captain has however been encouraged to apply for bail at the high court.

Mwanjali was on Sunday arrested for allegedly stabbing a Harare man two times in the stomach following a brawl at a night club in Zimbabwe.

The former Sundowns player is said to have fled the scene but later turned himself in.
