“I will never forget that goal,” Gabuza told Football411. “It’s not just because of what it means but also because of the team I scored against.

“Al-Ahly are the best team in Africa, for me to be able to score against them and help the team win means a lot.

“Before this goal the most memorable one was the one I scored for Bafana Bafana against Angola. It’s always great playing for the national team, scoring for it is a bonus.”

Gabuza will hope to keep his goal scoring form for the national team, when he joins up with Bafana Bafana for friendlies against Costa Rica and Honduras. He will travel with  Orlando Pirates to Egypt first where they will battle agaist Al-Ahly in the second leg of the CAF match on Sunday, where they will need to win or draw to reach the CAF confederations final.

“We have to go all the way since we have come this far,” Gabuza added. “This is a big opportunity for us to be African champions(CAF confederations champions).

“We have to make the most of it. We have to forget about the first leg now and play like the match in 0-0 when we go there. We can’t afford to slip up.”
