Goalkeeper Oscarine Masuluke’s Goal Shortlisted For Puskas Award
Goalkeeper Oscarine Masuluke’s Goal Shortlisted For Puskas Award! Masuluke scored a stunning overhead kick goal against Orlando Pirates last year and now he’s making African history after getting a nomination for a Puskas Award.
The same goal was nominated for goal of the season for the Premier Soccer league but he lost out to Kaizer Chiefs’ Siphiwe Tshabalala.
Masuluke is not only the first South African to be considered as one of the final three for the Puskas Award, he is also the first player from the African continent to be named as a finalist.
On Monday, Fifa confirmed the final shortlist for the prize, which will be handed out in London on 23 October.
