President Cyril Ramaphosa imposed an alert level-3 lockdown towards the end of 2020. Last week he announced that the decision will continue until 15 February 2021.
One of the restrictions in alert level-3 lockdown is an alcohol ban. It is illegal to sell, purchase, possess or consume alcohol until the 15th of February 2021.
