Hugo Broos Gives Update on Latest Bafana Bafana Squad! The national team has assembled ahead of international fixtures. 

Bafana Bafana will take on Eswatini and Ivory Coast in two international friendlies. Head coach Hugo Broos has given an update on the team camp.

The squad selected by Broos has had to change due to injuries. Percy Tau and Monnapule Saleng have had to depart the team due to personal reasons and an injury, respectively. 

The duo has been replaced by Mduduzi Mdantsane and Khanyisa Mayo. Captain and Ronwen Williams has struggled with a knock on his ankle, but he’s still in contention to play. 

“Percy Tau has been released from camp due to family reasons and Kaizer Chiefs’ Mduduzi Mdantsane takes his place in camp,” Broos told the media department.

“So far all assessments have been completed and this is the only change that we have made to the squad thus far to play Eswatini and Cote d’Ivoire. Ronwen Williams has a small ankle niggle as well” he concluded.

South Africa host Eswatini at the FNB Stadium on Friday evening, with kick-off at 18h00. New sponsors 10bet have wished the team well ahead of the friendlies.
