“I Am Just Doing My Job” – Terrence Dzvukamanja! The Zimbabwean international has enjoyed a purple patch of late.

Terrence Dzvukamanja is one of the most in form strikers in the DSTV Premiership at the moment. He claims that this is all just part of his responsibilities.

Dzvuka had a quite forgetful first half of the PSL season. He was surplus to requirements, as he was a certainty to leave Orlando Pirates in the January transfer window, alongside Zakhele Lepasa.

However, he stayed, and he has since proven his worth to the team. He has scored seven goals in the DSTV Premiership, in the second half of the campaign.

This has made him become the first-choice striker for Jose Riveiro.

“It’s normal for people to say things about you when you are a footballer.

“The most important thing is how you take criticism. I take criticism as motivation because if people criticise me, it means I am not giving 100%.

“I didn’t silence anyone, but I am just doing my job.

“In the first round, injuries were troubling me. God opened the doors for me in the second round because I was injury-free and that’s why I am scoring as well,” he added.

It is rumoured that his agent, Mike Makaab, was looking for a new club for the striker in the January transfer window. He claims to know nothing of that nature.

“I know nothing about that [that his agent was working on finding him a new home]. I don’t think I have been playing for a new contract.

“I am playing as I have always played, putting more effort to help the team,” the striker spoke.
