Jamie Webber Extends Contract with FC Tulsa After Standout Season

South African midfielder Jamie Webber will remain with FC Tulsa after signing a new contract that keeps him at the USL Championship club for the 2026 season. The 27 year old has impressed since arriving in the United States earlier this year following his departure from Sekhukhune United.

Webber joined Tulsa after a long spell without competitive action. Transfermarkt reports that the club paid about €440000, roughly R8.8 million, to secure his signature from Babina Noko. The move raised expectations and he delivered throughout the campaign.

The midfielder became one of the top performers in the USL Championship. He earned Player of the Week recognition, collected multiple Man of the Match awards and scored important goals. His consistency helped Tulsa win the Western Conference title in the regular season.

Tulsa reached the final of the 2025 USL Championship but lost to the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. Despite the setback, Webber’s influence across the season convinced the club to offer him an extended stay.

His new deal confirms his place in the squad as Tulsa prepare for another title push in 2026. The decision also strengthens his prospects with Bafana Bafana as he continues to compete at a high level abroad.
