Orlando Pirates lost 2-1 away to Cape Town City in the DSTV Premiership on Saturday afternoon. Head coach José Riveiro was unhappy with the loss after they created more chances in the game.

The Buccaneers took the lead through a fabulous effort from Deon Hotto. City equalised through Juan Zapata before substitute Darwin Gonzalez scored the winning goal in the second half.
Riveiro was asked whether he thinks they deserved to lose, considering the number of chances they created.
“No, absolutely not. It’s a scoring game, they scored 2 we scored 1, that’s the fact,” the Spaniard told Julia Stuart of SuperSport TV.
“Two different games, one before the goal, it was absolutely under control from the first minute. Its difficult to explain that we went to the halftime break at 1-1, but its football. It’s the same story many times already.
“It’s just things we need to do better because we cannot, we are not in a situation where we can give points for free. Im the responsible one, obviously. The game changed after the goal like I said, we dominated the first 15 minutes.
“When the opposition changed their structure, it was more about duels, and in that game, they were better than us. Even though the game was more equal, I think in the second half we deserve at least to capitalise on one of our chances.
“I mean the second time they were close to our goal they scored the second. Like I said, this game is about scoring and tonight they were better than us in that sense.” He bemoaned.
