Kaizer Chiefs A Global Brand? Fan In Chiefs Regalia Spotted In Brazil (Social Media Reactions)
A picture of a man in a Kaizer Chiefs jersey in the streets of Brazil has led to a social media verbal spat between rival fans from Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates as to which one is the biggest football institution in South Africa.
South African broadcaster Thabiso Mosia who spotted the man wearing the Chiefs jersey and talked to him and shared the picture with his followers.
Mosia on his social media post on Twitter further claimed that upon interrogating the man had confessed as not being a South African which perhaps lend further credence to Chiefs being a popular and big brand across the world as compared to its title rivals.
Fans from across the South African football divide were having a go at each other with more images shared on which is the biggest and popular football institution for the young and old.
Chiefs fans were happy to learn that the club is supported internationally with fans whilst rival Absa Premiership club fans mainly from the other half of Soweto and Mamelosi in Tswane were refusing such a tag and shared their own pics to counter.
