Kaizer Chiefs Terminate the Contract of Kamohelo Mahlatsi! The midfielder has been let go by Amakhosi.
Kaizer Chiefs have terminated the contract of Kamohelo Mahlatsi by mutual consent. The midfielder is now a free agent.
Mahlatsi joined Kaizer Chiefs from Moroka Swallows at the beginning of last season. However, he struggled to win any game time, making just seven appearances during his time at Naturena.
“Kamohelo Mahlatsi has left Kaizer Chiefs after the midfielder’s contract was terminated by mutual consent,” the club announced in a statement.
“He is now a free agent. The 25-year-old joined Amakhosi from Moroka Swallows in 2022 and featured seven times in the Gold & Black.”
Mahlatsi will hope to join a team within the DSTV Premiership and earn regular game time once more. He was a regular in the Bafana Bafana u/23’s and participated in the 2020 Olympic Games for the national team.
“Kamohelo has given his best at all times while a Chiefs player and, following consultation with his representatives, we decided to release him with a view to him finding more regular game time somewhere else. We appreciate his efforts and wish him all of the best for the future,” Club Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Jr elaborated.
