Katlego Otladisa Eyes Return to Marumo Gallants After Pirates Exit

Katlego Otladisa could be returning to familiar surroundings as he explores his next career move following his release from Orlando Pirates.
Sources indicate that Marumo Gallants are showing serious interest in reuniting with the 28-year-old winger. Otladisa previously played for Gallants between 2021 and 2023, a period in which he revitalized his top-flight career and earned a move to the Soweto giants.
His time at Pirates, however, did not go as planned, with limited game time prompting a loan move to Sekhukhune United during the second half of last season. At Sekhukhune, he featured in 11 matches across all competitions.
Gallants, who recently welcomed back Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo after his three-year stint with Pirates, are reportedly aiming to secure a similar return with Otladisa. The Limpopo-based club views him as a player who can make an immediate impact while strengthening their squad for the upcoming season.
Other Premier Division clubs, including Chippa United, Golden Arrows, Stellenbosch FC, and Siwelele, are also monitoring Otladisa’s situation.
At 28, Otladisa is entering the peak years of his career and will be keen to find a stable environment where he can regain the form that once made him one of the league’s most exciting wide players.
