Katsande: One game at a time
Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Willard Katsande says the league leaders are “ready and hungry” ahead of their clash with University of Pretoria on Tuesday.
Amakhosi are 10 points clear at the summit of the Premiership standings with five games remaining in their campaign, although second-placed Mamelodi Sundowns have a game in hand.
Another three-point haul on Tuesday would see Stuart Baxter’s men take one step closer towards securing the league title, following a 1-0 victory over AmaZulu last week.
“We focus on the here and now,” Zimbabwe international Katsande told his club’s official website.
“AmaZulu was an important game. We lost our last game against Raja Casablanca, had a long journey home from Morocco and wanted to get back to winning ways.
“There are three points at stake. The coach also stresses – ‘enjoy the moment and take one game at a time’.
“We are ready and hungry for the match.”
