Keagan Dolly Happy to Be Back Home and Enjoying His Football Again! The Amakhosi midfielder spoke ahead of the international matches this weekend.

Keagan Dolly is happy to finally enjoy his football once again. This follows his move back to South Africa to join Kaizer Chiefs.

Dolly spent four injury laden years in France with Montpellier. His stats were quite horrendous at the club.

The formerly mercurial winger only scored one goal while providing three assists in the four years. Quite bad.

However, in his first few months back in South Africa, Dolly has scored five goals while providing a few assists. This includes a brace from the Soweto Derby on Saturday evening.

“It feels good. I’m enjoying myself.” Dolly said to the media.  

“The past few years in France were a bit difficult for me in terms of picking up injuries, not playing so much,” he said.

“But it’s part of football. It was my journey I had to go through.

“And I’ve learnt from it — I’ve grown as a person and a player.

“I’m more experienced, I think I’m more decisive when I play.

And it just feels good to play week in, week out, being able to help the team win games, and being more decisive with my final pass and scoring goals again.

“I’m happy, I’m back at home and enjoying football again.” He added.
