Khune Breaks Andre Arende’s Record

Finally Itumeleng Khune has finally broken the record of the long-standing goal keeper in the colours of Bafana Bafana. He played for Bafana Bafana in the 2-1 win against Angola on Tuesday.

Khune has broken the goal keeping record when he ran out against Angola in an international friendly match at The Cape Town Stadium.

” I am very proud of the journey I have travelled since the making of my debut  in 2008 when I was given the opportunity by former Bafana Bafana coach Alberto Parreira. I never looked backs and I told myself that I need not grab this opportunity with both hands” Khune said.
