Lehlohonolo Seema Stands In For Luc Eymael
Former Bloemfontein Celtic and Orlando Pirates captain, Lehlohonolo Seema is still continuing his duties as interim coach for Bloemfontein Celtic. This is after news emerged that newly signed Celtic coach Luc Eymael cannot take reigns as the coach of the Free State based club due to disputes with his form side Polokwane City.
Eymael has already signed a contract as new coach at Bloemfontein Celtic, he has not been able to start his duties after City filed a complaint with the PSL, barring him from going ahead with his new job. Eymael could only watch Celtic from the stands against Cape Town City after Polokwane took their case to the PSL blocking him with starting his new job. He was also sat in the stands in the Nedbank Cup victory over Buya Msuthu while awaiting the processing of his papers.
City and Eymael have outstanding issues arising from money that the club loaned to the coach, which has given the club ammunition to demand compensation of R1,5 million. Eymael put in his resignation letter to City due to differences with management. The matter is set to be heard by PSL in March and in the meantime Seema will continue his duties as interim coach.
