Lucky Mohomi Confident of Reaching CAF Confederations Cup Final! Bahlabane Ba Ntwa are in continental action today.

Marumo Gallants visit Pyramids FC in the CAF Confederations Cup this evening. Midfielder Lucky Mohomi is sure that his side can make it all the way to the end.

Bahlabane Ba Ntwa played in continental football for the very first time in their history this season. This was courtesy of reaching the Nedbank Cup final last campaign, where they lost to league winners Mamelodi Sundowns.

They made it through the preliminary stages, group stages and are now in the knockout stages. They are coming up against an experienced Pyramids FC side, who are the natural favourites to win the two-legged tie.

“I believe we have a good and strong enough team to go all the way to the final,” the experienced midfielder told Sowetan.

“We are going to surprise many. We’re taking the tag of being the underdogs because that’s what people are saying, but we really believe we are capable of beating any team in this tournament.

“We are in the quarterfinals because we deserve it, it is not by fluke that we are here.

“If Pyramids also come with the mentality that we are the underdogs and they’ll have it easy against us, they won’t know what hits them. We are strong and ready for any challenge in this competition.” He added

“You see in the Confed Cup; we are just going with the flow. We are there just to enjoy ourselves.

“On the other hand, in the domestic league we always feel the pressure because it’s our bread and butter. In the PSL you don’t get to enjoy the moment because you have everything to lose if you don’t win games,” he concluded.
