Thabo Cele Not Looking to Join A PSL Team At the Moment! The midfielder is seeking to further his career abroad.

Thabo Cele represents Radomiak in the first division of Poland. He is only looking to improve his career at this point and the PSL is not in his interests.

Cele has exclusively played all his football in Europe, having left from the KZN Football Academy as a teenager to play in the 3rd division of Portugal. He has since played in the second and first divisions of Polish football.

The midfielder would like to play for an even bigger team in a bigger league should he depart from Radomiak. He has one more year left on his contract, after joining in 2021.

“As a young person coming from South Africa, you dream of playing in the big leagues, you don’t see Polish leagues and teams there, you want to play in a top league,” he admitted.

“That has been one of my intentions since I was a kid. So, I had to take that decision to play in third division in Portugal and then second division and first league in Poland.

“I’m looking to take that step, that is what I’ve been working for and still working for.

“It’s something that I know about and something that is always possible. especially when the transfer window is open and I won’t lie, it’s something that you consider because sometimes you find it tough (abroad), and you think about all other things.

“But as I said, my intention is always to climb a ladder on that side because that is my dream.

“So, the move back to South Africa right now is not something that I think about. but this is football, you never know what’s going to happen next.” He spoke.

He was part of the Bafana Bafana team which finished third at the recent COSAFA Cup. Thabo Cele Not Looking to Join A PSL Team At the Moment!
