Manyama Sings Praises To Muhsin Etrugral
Mpumalanga Black Aces midfielder Lebogang Manyama sings praises on coach Muhsin Ertugral for guiding AmaZayoni to four wins out of six matches, as well as Telkom Knockout win. The Turkish-born coach took over the Aces job at the beginning of the season and has giuded the Mpumalanga side the second spot in the Absa Premier League log.
Manyama, on loan to Aces from SuperSport United, he went back to his best for in the three outings he’s started since arriving and indicates that his reunion with Ertugral will help him get back to his best.
“Obviously, knowing the coach having previously worked with him played a huge role in my decision to come here,” he told KickOff.com.
“He is a coach that knows me very well, he knows my strengths and weaknesses and his ability to get the best out of his players makes us all want to play for him, and I am happy to be working with him again.
“Ever since I moved from Ajax [Cape Town] to SuperSport I’ve been really unfortunate with injuries, I have never played ten consecutive games because of injuries, but I feel good and hopefully working with Muhsin will also be good for my confidence.
“I do not want to put myself under unnecessary pressure and say that I am going to do this and that, but I will take each game as it comes.”
In response to Aces unexpected start this season, Manyama once again credits Ertugral.
“He is a coach of high magnitude, with great knowledge and experience. His record speaks for itself and he knows this League really well,” he adds.
“It all boils down to what he does; he tells us what to do, how to do it and tells us what he expects from us. We train the same way we play and that’s been working for us so far.”
