Marcelo Allende Is Aware of Defensive Tactics of Chippa United! The Brazilians take on The Chilli Boys in the league later tonight.

Mamelodi Sundowns will host Chippa United in the DSTV Premiership tonight. Chilean midfielder Marcelo Allende is fully aware of what it will take to win this encounter.

The Brazilians have enjoyed three successive 2-0 wins since the PSL returned at the end of December. These wins came against Orlando Pirates, Swallows FC and most recently Richards Bay FC.

Masandawana are huge favourites to claim yet another win later today, strengthening their position on top of the table.

“The levels are similar to be honest, the quality of players we have in the squad has surprised me and that makes us become even more competitive.” Allende told the club media.

“We showed that in the previous match. It makes me happy to be part of a team with such great players.

“Chippa [United] have their defensive way of playing, we like to play possession-based football. We are expecting that they will play with a low block, and strong defence. We will see how to penetrate and get three points which is very important.

“I feel very loved here, I am very happy, as they say, you must be where you are loved. Supporters are very important to us, they give us support, they give us strength and we want all three points.

“We invite everyone to continue coming to the stadium and we will do our best,” the midfielder pleaded.
