Amakhosi scored two first half goals from Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana and Edmilson Dove to seal all three points. Their own goal was peppered by the hosts, but a man of the match performance from goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune ensured that they kept a clean sheet.

“I strongly believe Baba Msibi [Phumlani Msibi] that we lost the game in the first 15 minutes of the game. It is something that we always stress as coaches; for players to always focus.” Vilakazi told Phumlani Msibi of SuperSport TV.

“I think coming into the fore lines, you need to know that you have got an assignment ahead of you. I think we lacked concentration, now we had to double the effort in terms of coming back and stuff like that.

“But we had that hope, because they scored their two goals in the first 45 minutes and we had another 45 minutes. But we decided to shut the door and ensure that there is no room for errors and focus more on trying to create scoring opportunities and score.

“I think we created a few [opportunities], we hit the pole twice. But I cannot faulter the effort and the hard work from the players, but I still think we need to work on making sure that we fully focus on the game and not allow the opposition to score silly goals.” He spoke.
