Masibusane Zongo On The Run

Former Platinum Stars maestro and shoeshine player, Masibusane Zongo is on the run after he failed to appear in court to face his rape charge. Zongo was out on bail for a rape incident case that happened in 2013. The case was reported in February 2013 when Zongo was on the books of Chippa United. The club has since relocated from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth.

Zongo is nowhere to be found. Perhaps this is not surprising as the player is know to go missing even when he has to report for training. Zongo was shown the door by Platinum Stars for failure to report for training after 10 days missing. He has struggled with discipline and that has landed him on the wrong side of the law.

Police from the Belville police station have appealed to the public to come forward with any news that relate to the whereabouts of the talented star now on the wrong side of the law. It is unfortunate that such a talented player has to be on the wrong side of the law because of ill discipline and not conducting himself in a professional manner and inspire other young and upcoming stars.
