Mlungisi Mbunjana Looking Forward To Interesting Battle against Chippa United!

Mbunjana has had a great start to his DSTV Premiership season thus far. He has helped his team up to 11th on the table and they haven’t reached the halfway point yet. Mlungisi Mbunjana Looking Forward To Interesting Battle against Chippa United!

He has been pivotal in the midfield for his side. He is responsible for winning the ball back and setting the tempo to which TS Galaxy has to perform and start their own attacks.

“We’ve defended well. We are no longer giving away goals since coach, Owen Da Gama took charge of the team. We have a good attack that can score anytime and we are solid at the back. For me, it is the combination of those two” Mbunjana says in a club interview.

“Every game in the league is tough. Chippa United is no different. We haven’t changed anything in our preparations. The coach is working on a few things that we’ve been lacking.

“Last week, we didn’t play. That gave the coach enough time to work in our witnesses and improve our strength. We didn’t have enough time to work on those because we had back to back games.” Mbunjana said.

TS Galaxy are coming back from good wins against Maritzburg United and Black Leopards. These wins have seen them move away from the relegation zone and into parity.

“Winning against Maritzburg and Leopards made a very huge difference in terms of moving slightly away from where we were. We are moving towards midtable now.

“We want to try and get maximum points against any opposition so that we can climb up the table.

“Winning games automatically boosts confidence. When you do good, you certainly going to feel good. Our confidence has grown. I don’t think much has changed. We’ve turned that corner” he says.

TS Galaxy play Chippa United in the DSTV Premiership on Saturday. The last time these two sides met Chippa won 1-0 at the Mbombela Stadium.

The Chilli Boys are coach by former TS Galaxy coach Dan Malesela.

“When you play against Coach Dan you have to be at your best. He is a type of the coach that loves to keep the ball. He wants to be in possession all the times.

“We should be at our best defensively. It is going to be an interesting battle.” Mbunjana concluded. Mlungisi Mbunjana Looking Forward To Interesting Battle against Chippa United!
