Molefi Ntseki Believes Kaizer Chiefs Will Heal in The Next Two Weeks! Amakhosi fell to defeat against The Cityzens in the middle of the week.
Kaizer Chiefs lost 1-0 away to Cape Town City in the DSTV Premiership on last Tuesday night. Head coach Molefi Ntseki is already looking to the future for solutions.
With the MTN 8 final having taken place last weekend, there were no other PSL matches on show. There is a FIFA window coming up this weekend as well, meaning Amakhosi will take to the pitch again after three weeks since their last encounter.
Ntseki is hopeful that this period will give him and the players time to heal during this period away from the pitch.
“Time heals,” the Amakhosi head coach revealed to the press after the defeat.
“The two weeks that we’ll be working with the players will also give them time to heal. When we prepare we always prepare to win but in football you win some and you lose some.
“It’s just unfortunate that today [on Tuesday] with such a good performance we lost the game. We are professionals…we have to lift our heads and go back to training and prepare the team for the next coming matches.
“No coach and no team will be happy with inconsistent results. We are working very hard with the players to get the rhythm right so that we can build on the confidence.
“The confidence that will help us score goals when we are playing well.” He stated.
