Mothobi Mvala Eager to Kick Start His Mamelodi Sundowns Career! He must fight very hard to earn a place in a very competitive midfield.
The 26-year-old joined alongside Peter Shalulile at the beginning of the season. This is after Highlands Park sold their PSL status to TS Galaxy.
Mvala was the captain of Owen da Gama’s Highlands Park outfit. He is also an adept national team player.
Mothobi Mvala graduated through the youth ranks of the South Africa international setup. This is from the u/17’s straight to the men’s national first team.
He was also part of the 2016 Olympic squad. He was in the team that took on Brazil.
Upon arrival, Mvala was not naïve to the level of competition at Sundowns.
“I am delighted to be here; I am enjoying it and I got a warm welcome from my teammates and the technical team.
“The mood in the team is great and I am adjusting very well and with hard work, I will be where I want to be,” Mothobi says on the club website.
“I know that for me to play I must work hard and follow the instructions given to me by the technical team.
“I want to contribute to the team’s success and the only way to do that is to push myself.
“I want to win trophies with the team as that is the culture of the team and everyone can see that every season the clubs always win a trophy”. He concluded.
