Moving To Kaizer Chiefs A Dream Come True for Sibusiso Mabiliso! The left back has just signed for Amakhosi from AmaZulu.

Like many Kaizer Chiefs signings, he says he is playing for the team he grew up supporting. Sibusiso Mabiliso says the transfer to Kaizer Chiefs is like a dream coming true.

Mabiliso has just started training with his new teammates at Naturena. This is after he returned from a disappointing Olympics campaign with South Africa.

He has been received with warmth by his team colleagues.

“I would like to thank everyone for the warm welcome.” Mabiliso tells the club media.

“I am delighted to join this amazing club. I am looking forward to the next challenge.

“To be honest Kaizer Chiefs is a team I always dreamt of playing for. I was looking forward to it and I was very excited at the news initially.

“When the move happened, I got a call from my agent and then I spoke to my dad and mom, and they pushed me to join Chiefs. They knew this was my dream move,” the excited 22-year-old said.

Mabiliso is only 22 years old and already has 4 years’ experience in the PSL. He made his debut as an 18-year-old for AmaZulu.

This is something that doesn’t happen often for youngsters in the DSTV Premiership.

“I was developed at Platinum Stars academy. I am from a small village outside Rustenburg.

“From Platinum Stars I joined AmaZulu in 2018. I made my PSL debut at the age of 18 and was given my debut by coach Cavin Johnson,” he added.
