Ntsako Makhubela Allegedly Lacking Desire to Play for Orlando Pirates! The midfielder has not played in the league this season.

Orlando Pirates midfielder Ntsako Makhubela has somewhat turned into a forgotten man this season. Reports suggest that he has lost his hunger to play for Pirates.

Neverdie joined the Buccaneers from Golden Arrows at the beginning of last season. He followed Mandla Ncikazi from Lamontville to Orlando.

The duo had helped the KZN based side to a record 4^th placed finish in the DSTV Premiership the season before. This is what incited a move to Pirates.

Last season, under the dual mentorship of Fadlu Davids and Ncikazi, Neverdie was an ever-present in the Buccaneers line up. However, this season under José Riveiro, he has struggled to earn some minutes.

“Neverdie is relaxed way too much.” An insider revealed to Phakaaathi. 

“I don’t think he has realised that he is playing for a big team, and he has to work hard to get into the starting line-up. The competition is tough. 

“He was told that things are going to change when he gets to Pirates and he listened, but it seems like he has forgotten about everything. He doesn’t really show that he wants to play, he lacks some of those characteristics needed in a player.

“I really hope that he realises that there is no other way than working hard to make sure that he gets to play football regularly. I think a lot of people have forgotten about him.” The insider concluded.
