Nuno Espirito Santo Announced As New Spurs Head Coach! The Portuguese manager has signed a 2 year contract with the London based club.

Nuno Espirito Santo is the new manager after Spurs sacked Jose Mourinho at the end of last season. He has been given a short term contract as Spurs look to hit the heights they did in previous seasons.

Nuno built a fantastic reputation for himself after leading Wolves into the Premier League in 2018/2019. He groomed the likes of Diogo Jota, Ruben Neves and Adama Traore, to name a few.

He is tasked with leading Spurs back into the top 4. After losing the 2019 UEFA Champions League final to Liverpool, Spurs have since struggled to enter the competition.

“When you have a squad with quality and talent, we want to make the fans proud and enjoy.” He told Spurs upon his unveiling.

“It’s an enormous pleasure and honour (to be here), there’s joy and I’m happy and looking forward to starting work. We don’t have any days to lose and we must start working immediately as pre-season starts in a few days.” The excited Espirito Santo said.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will be hoping that Santo can bring his modern football tactics to the club.

“First of all, I’d like to welcome Nuno to the Club. We should like to thank our supporters for all their patience throughout this process.

“I’ve spoken already about the need to revert back to our core DNA of playing attacking, entertaining football and Fabio and I believe Nuno is the man who can take our talented group of players, embrace our young players coming through and build something special.” The chairman said.
