“One Day Someone Will Get 4” – Morgan Mammila! The Chilli Boys shared the spoils against The Cityzens this weekend.

Chippa United drew 1-1 against Cape Town City in the DSTV Premiership on Saturday evening. Head coach Morgan Mammila believes their performances will result in a big result soon enough.

The visitors took a warranted lead when a Brice Ambina effort deflected off Justice Chabalala into the net. The host equalized through an Etiosa Ighodaro header just before halftime.

“You know, football is something else. I know that they came here expecting the team that finished the match against [Mamelodi] Sundowns.” Mammila told SuperSport TV after the result.  

“I saved players for the second half, but let’s be honest, if there was a team that deserved to win the match, its these young soldiers. I call them gentlemen because gentlemen are people who are well respected.

“They act. ‘Let’s give it to them, lets give it to Cape Town City’. You know, South African supporters are choosy when it comes to football. They know football, they want to see this kind of game.

“So, one thing that’s for sure, I’m congratulating my boys for going all out. But I think we should have got 3, but overall, I’m the happiest man.

“If my team will play like this, I’m telling you one will get 4 one day. Overall, I’m happy with a point, although I should have got 3.” He lamented.
