Orlando Pirates Coach Abdeslam Ouaddou and TS Galaxy Midfielder Puso Dithejane Claim Betway Premiership Awards

Orlando Pirates head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou and TS Galaxy midfielder Puso Dithejane have been named Betway Premiership Coach and Player of the Month for November and December. Both mark their second award of the season, highlighting consistent performances in the league.

Dithejane earned Player of the Month after maintaining strong form. The attacking midfielder contributed significantly to Galaxy’s recent run, scoring once and providing two assists over the two-month period. His efforts helped the team secure a top-eight position heading into the Christmas break. He beat strong contenders including Orlando Pirates forward Oswin Appollis and AmaZulu FC’s Athini Maqokolo.

Ouaddou claimed his second consecutive Coach of the Month award following a successful period with Pirates. He guided the team to four wins and a draw in five matches, ensuring the club entered the festive break at the top of the Betway Premiership. He outperformed competition from Polokwane City’s Phuthi Mohafe and AmaZulu’s Arthur Zwane.

The Betway Premiership Goal of the Month was awarded to 20-year-old Cemran Dansin. The Pirates striker scored a stunning volley from outside the box in a 1-1 draw against Mamelodi Sundowns on November 1. The strike, Dansin’s first professional goal, drew global attention and edged out AmaZulu’s Riaan Hanamub and Haashim Domingo of Orbit College for the award.

The winners were selected by an independent panel of PSL-accredited journalists and broadcasters. The awards recognize individual excellence while highlighting emerging talents in the league.
