Orlando Pirates seek to reclaim top 8 spot

South African giants Orlando Pirates are seeking to reclaim a place in the top 8 of the ABSA premiership when they lock horns with Free State Stars this evening.

The Sea robbers slumped to a narrow 2-1 defeat at the hands of Mamelodi Sundowns last week but Eric Tinkler will be hoping his charges bounce back from the set back and reclaim a place in the top 8.

Pirates are just 1 point behind 8th placed Supersport United who have 24 points, making Tuesday evenining’s clash against Free State Stars important for the Soweto giants.

Pirates have had a difficult campaign but the past few weeks have been encouraging for the Sea robbers who have slowly moved up the psl standings.
