Orlando Pirates Sign 4 New Players For New Season! The Buccaneers have bolstered their already talented squad for the new campaign.
Orlando Pirates have confirmed the signings of 4 new players for the current campaign. They have signed Monnapule Saleng, Goodman Mosele, Kwanda Ngonyama and Bandile Shandu.
All 4 of these signings were players that Pirates were linked with from the end of the last campaign.
Monnapule Saleng has been signed from NFD side Free State Stars. He has signed a three year contract with Pirates.
Goodman Mosele has signed from fellow DSTV Premiership side Baroka FC. The midfielder has signed a 4 year deal with The Buccaneers.
Both Kwanda Ngonyama and Bandile Shandu have joined from Maritzburg United. Ngonyama has signed for two years while Shandu is on a three year contract.
“The Mighty Buccaneers have bolstered the squad ahead of the 2021/22 season.” The club announced in a statement.
“Orlando Pirates Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of Goodman Mosele, Monnapule Saleng, Bandile Shandu and Kwanda Mngonyama.
“Mosele joins the Club from Baroka FC on a four-year deal. The former PSL Young Player of the Season will join the Club upon his return from national duty at the Tokyo Olympics.
“Attacking midfielder Saleng, who finished the season as Top Goal Scorer in the GladAfrica Championship, has signed an initial three-year deal.
“Meanwhile, Mngonyama and Shandu join as free agents on initial two-and three-year terms, respectively. Both players join having spent the 2020/21 season at Maritzburg United.”
Orlando Pirates appointed former Golden Arrows coach Mandla Ncikazi into the technical staff last month. They are looking to challenge for the DSTV Premiership title next season.
