Percy Tau European Dream Continues As Club Brugge Draw Man United In Europa League
Bafana Bafana star forward Percy Tau sometimes probably has to pinch himself for a reality check on whether it is really him face to face with some of the big European giants week in , week out was definitely beyond his widest of imagination.
The mere thought and facing some of the big name players in world football and showcasing his talent in big European stadia is really something hard to fathom for the Witbank born player.
Tau’s Club Brugge will face Manchester United as the two clubs were drawn to face each other in the last 32 of the Uefa Europa League.
Straight from a dazzling and inspired show at Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabeu, Tau will take his amazing talent to the Theatre of Dreams, Old Trafford, home of Manchester United where he will seek to illiminate one of grandeur stages of word football.
United will be fancing their chances of winning the tournament once again, after winning the competition under Jose Mourinho in 2017.
The Red DevilS travel to Bruges for the first leg on February 20 before returning to Old Trafford a week later.
Tau is in fine form going into the new year, as he stole the show in Belgium on Sunday evening scoring a goal and coming up with an assist for league leaders Club Brugge, who defeated Mechelen 3-0.
The result was the Blue and Black’ 14th win of the season which further cemented their lead at the top of the league with 45 points from 18 games.
Tau is enjoying a dream season as he is set to feature in all of Europe’s premier club competitions in one season.
