Phala seeks legal advice after violence accusations.

The accusations surfaced on social media this week as the SuperSport winger was named as being involved in an attack that reportedly took place against a girl by the name of Zintle Mbatha.

The girl has apparently taken the matter to the police, although at this stage there has been no further word on the matter.

Now, having spoken to the player himself, Matsatsantsa have condemned violence ‘of any form’ and ‘especially against women and children’, after explaining that Phala denies the allegations against him.  
 
A statement from the club:

“SuperSport United has become aware of allegations of abuse involving Thuso Phala circulating on social media.

“The club has spoken to the player, who denies the allegations and has sought legal advice against these defamatory allegations.

“SuperSport United will let the law take its course, suffice to say that the club condemns violence of any form, especially against women and children.”
