PICS! AmaZulu Give Maluleka Top Club Car

Who gets to drive the company car? Not just anyone. George Maluleka recently moved from Mamelodi Sundowns after they decided against extending his contract. He moved to the KwaZulu-Natal-based club and signed a two-year deal with an option to extend.

Now, Maluleka has begun training with the club and was handed a club car to move around. Take a look at it.

MALULEKA TALKS ABOUT LEAVING CHIEFS

‘Mido’ as Maluleka is affectionately known was immensely lambasted when he left Amakhosi to join the Pretoria giants. According to many Chiefs fans, he cost the club the league as they were counting on him to help them win the title that they last won in 2015. However, Maluleka says leaving Chiefs wasn’t his decision.

“I know some people are still angry, I’ve heard and seen the comments about me costing Chiefs the title, but what could I do? It’s in the past now and I really don’t like talking about what happened there. It wasn’t my decision,” he said on SA FM. “It happens all over the world. We couldn’t agree on terms and we parted ways with Chiefs. They know why, we couldn’t agree on terms.”

“Even though there are some fans who are angry, I know some accepted what happened and have sent me positive messages which I appreciated. But now I’d like to focus on AmaZulu and not go back to the past.”
