We have gotten used to her face on TV broadcasts when it comes to football but we rarely see Carol Tshabalala participating as a player in any kind of sports.
With DStv Premiership on the break, even the sportscasters have an opportunity to shift the focus to other things rather than planning for the upcoming games and shows.

The SuperSport TV football presenter who is the First Lady, Carol Tshabalala posted pictures of herself on social media playing tennis. One would have expected her to show off some skills with the soccer ball since she does football broadcasts.
“Really enjoyed playing tennis with the kids from Blue Hills College,” she said.
It appears that she is has been appointed as an ambassador of BNP Paribas RCS Rising Star Tennis which is a competition that is played mostly by schools as it aims at increasing youth participation in tennis in South Africa.
“I’m a proud BNP Paribas RCS Rising Star Tennis ambassador. Now I’m really excited about this competition because it is back this time around and it is bigger and better. Now in year two of the competition last year, we reached almost 800 schools, this time around we want to reach even more,” Carol said in the video she posted on social media.

“This is a nationwide tennis team competition that everyone is so excited about. Our target this time around is to reach about a 1000 schools which includes primary schools, high schools. Now if you would just want to play tennis or you want to compete to be a champion in 2022, it’s very easy.
