PICS! Linda Mntambo And Zakhele Lepasa Spending Time With Aspiring Stars In Soweto. It took Linda Mntambo a quite difficult and long journey to reach success in his football career. He’s the right person to encourage and guide upcoming stars that are looking to build themselves names in this beautiful game.

As for Zakhele Lepasa, he was fortunate to have his talent nurtured by Orlando Pirates at a young age. Being sent out on loan to TS Galaxy gave him more confidence as he got to play more frequently. Scoring a winning goal in that historical Nedbank Cup final for The Rockets made him an inspiration to the aspiring footballers.

Linda Mntambo Foundation was out to donate football equipment in Meadowlands, Soweto. Mntambo and Lepasa who seem to get along so much spent some time giving tips to the youngsters of Exclusive Academy. They posted pictures on Instagram posing with the lads.

“Today we visited Exclusive Academy in Meadowlands under the freezing weather conditions. We got to spend time with the boys and share with them of what it takes to be a professional footballer.”

MNTAMBO’S RECENT MOVE TO SEKHUKHUNE

Mntambo recently moved from Buccaneers to Sekhukhune United on a permanent deal after spending almost four years with the Soweto giants. Mntambo, who joined the Club in 2018 having had spells at Jomo Cosmos and Chippa United, went on to register 71 appearances for the Buccaneers in all competitions, scoring 8 times and recording 6 assists.

With Babina Noko having relocated from Gauteng to Limpopo ahead of the upcoming campaign, Mntambo will also have to move away from home to start a new life in another province. He took to his Instagram account to thank Ezimnyama Ngenkani for the stay he had at the club.

LEPASA’S INJURY CONCERNS AND LIMITED GAME TIME

The 25-year-old forward has been facing injury problems, especially in the previous season. Whenever he returns from injury, it’s been hard to get back into the first line-up.
