Royal AM will officially participate in the GladAfrica Championship in the 2021/2022 season. This is after the Premier Soccer League administered them into the second division of South African football.
It seems as if Sekhukhune United will officially play in the first division this season. Which is welcome news as they have made several additions into their squad.
Royal AM on the other hand have enjoyed a far from idea close season. They have spent their entire pre-season in dispute with the PSL.
Players have not known whether they will be playing PSL or NFD football in the coming season. That decision has been made by the league.
Over the past two weeks Judge Neill Sutherland dismissed their case against the PSL and against acting CEO Mato Madlala. This has seen the domino effect which has led the league to proceed with the new campaign.
