The game is taking place at the FNB Stadium with kick-off at 18:00.
This is the second last qualifier for both teams today. Both teams are sitting on 9 teams, alongside Sudan.
The winner of this game is almost guaranteed a spot in the showpiece event in Cameroon next year.
However, the Ghanaians would be better suited to a defeat over their hosts. Their last match is at home to lowly Sao Tome & Principe.
A match is which Ghana is highly favoured to win. Particularly because the islanders have lost all 5 of their qualifiers.
A loss for Bafana Bafana would mean that they would have to beat Sudan on Sunday. The Sudanese national team currently tops the group.
If Bafana Bafana losses today, all they would need is a draw on Sunday. However, should South Africa draw or win today, then Sudan would need to defeat the Southerners on Sunday.
At the moment, two consecutive draws would be enough to guarantee qualification into the competition for Molefi Ntseki’s men.
